Percy the penguin loved pizza. He had a dream to open the very first pizzeria in Antarctica.
Percy started by building an ice kitchen out of snow blocks. He made dough and tossed it in the air. It froze mid-spin. He spread tomato sauce, which froze, and sprinkled cheese, which shattered like glass.
“Hmm,” thought Percy. “Maybe frozen pizza will be the next big thing.”
Soon his penguin friends lined up to try it. “One pizza with anchovies, please!” called Penny.
“No problem,” said Percy, sliding the frozen pizza onto a block of ice.
“Crunchy, but tasty!” said Penny as she pecked at the pizza.
Everyone loved the pizzas and word spread fast. Business was booming until the pizzas started sliding off the ice counter and floating out to sea. Percy watched as the pizzas drifted away on icebergs.
But the customers didn’t mind. They had fun chasing the icebergs to get their pizzas. And that’s how Percy became not just the first Antarctic pizza maker, but also the inventor of the iceberg pizza delivery service.
