Dax and Ada's First Football Game

Dax and Ada gave $5 to a charity and their names were entered into a draw for prizes. They were very surprised when they heard that Ada won second prize - 2 tickets to a football game.

They knew nothing about football and had never been to a live football game. They had never even watched a game on TV.

"This is a great way to learn about football," said Dax.

"I think so too," said Ada. "Let's go!"

They went to the stadium and sat high up in the stands. They watched the kickoff and a boring scoreless first half. They enjoyed the band and the dancers that followed.

Then came the second half. When the teams lined up for the kickoff, Ada said, "I guess we can go home now, Dax. This is where we came in."
