Circe and Her Magic Potions

Circe is often called the Greek Goddess of Magic. She lived on a beautiful island filled with bright flowers, tall trees, and wild animals.

Circe was very wise. She knew many secrets about nature, plants, and animals. She made magical potions that could heal people and help them feel calm and brave. One of her strongest spells could turn people into animals and then turn them back again.

Circe used magic words to call animals to her side. Birds, wolves, and lions sometimes sat near her home without fear. She could help plants grow quickly with her magic and make fruit trees bloom even in dry weather.

Sailors sometimes landed on Circe's island when they were lost at sea. Circe used magic to test them to see if they were brave and honest. If they were, she helped them find their way home. Sailors who were rude or greedy learned a hard lesson. Some stories say she turned one group of sailors into pigs.

Many stories about Circe are part of ancient Greek legends. Even today, people tell stories about her magical island and her powerful potions.
