The Cat That Loved Broccoli

Luca and Naya love cats. They have six of them.

One day Luca cooks a big pot of broccoli. It is way too much for the two of them. There is a lot left over.

Naya sets a plate of broccoli on the floor hoping that the cats will eat it.

"There's no way the cats are going to eat that!" says Luca. "They only like fish, chicken, and their special treat of peanut butter on toast."

Five cats walk by the broccoli and turn up their noses. The sixth cat, Jack, stops and tries a piece. Then another, and another. He loves it and keeps on eating.

When the other cats see Jack eating the broccoli, they come back to check it out. One by one, they all start eating the broccoli they passed up earlier.

All it took was for Jack to like it, and the others thought they were missing out on something.
