How to Turn a Christmas Pudding into a Dog Toy

Martha is not a good cook. One Christmas, Martha decides to make a Christmas pudding in the microwave oven. She follows every step in the recipe and gets each family member to stir the mixture for good luck.

When it's time to cook the pudding, Martha can't believe that 10 minutes will be enough. She decides to use her normal oven cooking time of 50 minutes.

Martha watches TV while the pudding cooks. She doesn't see or hear the pudding smoking and popping in the microwave oven. When she finally takes out the pudding, it smells of burnt sugar and looks like a ball of tar.

The hard black pudding ball is stuck to the bottom of the bowl. Martha has to use a screwdriver to get it out. As she lifts it, the black Christmas pudding ball goes flying across the room. Martha's dog, Monty, catches it.

Monty loves his new toy. He plays with it all the time and it lasts until the next Christmas.
